Kolja Senteur was born in 1975. After secondary school, he attended the technical school for commercial graphics in Rheinbach. He then studied design at the Werkschule in Cologne.

Kolja Senteur led the artist group Collage for 10 years and was a long-time member of the board of the Are-Gilde artists' association. He also served on various juries. Publications with the Tinblech publishing house and the legendary U-Comix, as well as illustrations for television and fiction, followed.

Kolja Senteur lives and works as a freelance artist in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler.
